As every year, the Hermann-Löns-Schule once again took part in the Euregio School soccer tournament with great enthusiasm. In the weeks leading up to the tournament, the children trained regularly in PE lessons in order to prepare for the games in the best possible way.
An unofficial first place was achieved even before the kick-off: No team was better dressed than the Hermann-Löns-Schule. Once again, we would like to mention the great work of the school's support association.
Although the first few games did not go in our favor, the children were not discouraged. In the second half of the tournament, the teams really got going. The support of classmates and parents cheering from the stands created a great atmosphere and gave the players extra motivation.
At the end of the tournament, the girls were able to secure a great third place, while the boys finished in a good fourth place. As always, the organization of the tournament was excellent and we would like to thank the Euregio School organization team.
We are already looking forward to next year's tournament!
