Sports badge award ceremony at the Hermann-Löns-School in Epe

Epe - An exciting day for the pupils of the Hermann-Löns-Schule: the sports badges were awarded during a festive ceremony. The Sparkasse, represented by Mr. Mikus, together with the sports teacher Ms. Laing, presented the awards to the successful athletes.

Overall, the young athletes were able to show impressive performances: the bronze badge was awarded 18 times, the silver badge 25 times and even the gold badge 5 times. These successes are the result of hard work and intensive training in PE lessons, where the pupils worked diligently on their skills.

"It's great to see how much commitment and team spirit our students show," said Ms. Laing. "The awarding of the sports badges is not only a recognition of their achievements, but also a motivation for future sporting challenges."

Another highlight is already just around the corner: on June 27, 2025, the Sports and Games Festival will take place, where, in addition to the traditional national youth games, disciplines for the German sports badge will also be taken. There is great anticipation for this event and the pupils are already eagerly training to further improve their performance.

The Hermann-Löns-Schule would like to thank the Sparkasse for its support and the opportunity to celebrate the pupils' sporting successes in a fitting manner. The awarding of sports badges is an important part of the school culture and promotes not only sporting activity but also a sense of community among the pupils.
