Forest Day

• On Friday, September 18, 2026, the three fourth-grade classes went to the Bülten for “Forest Day.” With support from the city of Gronau, the hunting club had set up many interesting stations. The children got to act as forest explorers, try their hand at playing the hunting horn, meet the female goshawk “Irma” in person, learn about fawn rescue efforts, and discover lots of interesting facts about the forest. All three fourth-grade classes were thrilled and got to put their new knowledge to the test in a quiz at the end. The forest is a wonderful place for learning outside of school, and we’d like to thank the many volunteers from the hunting club who made this experience possible.
