School Orchestra Delights Audience with a Diverse Concert at St. Agatha Church

On July 8, this year’s concert by our school orchestra took place at St. Agatha Church. Numerous parents, grandparents, siblings, and other guests came to enjoy the musical performances by our students. The concert, which lasted about an hour, featured a varied program and impressively showcased what the children had learned over the course of the school year.

After opening remarks by music school teacher Ms. Brägelmann and music teacher Ms. Büscher, the first-graders kicked off the concert. They performed dances set to songs from their JeKits classes and got the concert off to a great start. Next, the second-grade orchestra showcased its talents. Under the direction of Ms. Paulides and Ms. Brägelmann, the children played guitars, recorders, djembes, and cellos. The third-grade orchestra, conducted by Ms. Martin, played violins, guitars, cellos, and recorders and was also rewarded with loud applause.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the children, the teachers involved, and all the volunteers who helped make this wonderful concert a success. We were especially delighted by the large audience, whose attendance showed their appreciation for the performances of our young musicians.

We’re already looking forward to the next concert and to welcoming the new musicians from the first-grade classes to our school orchestra in the coming school year.
