For many children, jazz has little to do with their everyday lives. At the 36th Jazz Festival in Gronau, however, the fourth-graders from Hermann-Löns-Schule had the chance to experience jazz music live. More than 600 pupils from various schools in Gronau and EP took part in Nils Wülker's concert in the Bürgerhalle. Between the performances of the successful trumpeter, there was also an interview that individual children had prepared. They talked about the instruments, jazz and Nils Wülker's private life. In addition to the music, the children were also impressed by the lighting technology and the overall atmosphere in the Bürgerhalle. This event was a special experience for everyone and brought the children closer to the world of music in a special way that is not possible in normal music lessons and everyday school life.
