The Hermann Löns Primary School in Epe has reason to celebrate, because thanks to the generous support of the Friends' Association, new game boxes were recently purchased for each class. This exciting new acquisition offers the pupils a wide range of opportunities to make their breaks and free time even more varied.
The play boxes have been equipped with a variety of toys and sports equipment. Each box contains various balls, table tennis bats, frisbees, ropes, horse leads, sand toys, chalk and much more. This selection enables the pupils to improve their motor skills, express their creativity and have fun together.
What is particularly exciting is that each class also received a juggling set. This set serves as a link to the circus project that took place at the Hermann-Löns-Schule in May 2023. The pupils thus have the opportunity to further train their dexterity and coordination.
The selection of materials for the game boxes was made by Ms. Laing and Ms. Bätker, who have intensively studied the needs of the pupils. Their careful selection ensures that the game boxes meet the interests and abilities of the pupils. In order to organize the game boxes clearly, they were each labeled with the class animal. This makes it easier for the pupils to find their own box and at the same time promotes a sense of belonging to the class.
The Hermann-Löns-Grundschule would like to thank the Förderverein for its generous support in purchasing the game boxes. This donation will make the school environment even livelier and give the pupils the opportunity to spend their free time actively and creatively. The school management and the entire teaching staff are delighted with the positive response from the pupils to the new game boxes. They are convinced that this enrichment will further enrich school life and support the pupils in their development.
In the future, the school plans to regularly expand and update the game boxes to provide the pupils with new opportunities. Hermann-Löns-Grundschule is looking forward to continuing to be a place of learning, fun and togetherness.
